Lagu Remote

The music stays.
You move.

Leave Lagu playing on the computer, the Apple TV, or an Android TV. Pick up your phone and take over the whole session from the sofa, the kitchen, or anywhere your home Wi-Fi reaches. An Android phone can run an Apple TV; an iPhone can run a Windows PC.

An iPhone running Lagu Remote next to a MacBook playing Lagu. The phone shows Smooth Criminal with transport controls and the Remote indicator lit; the Mac keeps the audio, with the same track in its player bar and the queue open down the right-hand side.
01Browse without going back

Search and open your full library on iPhone or Android, then start an album, playlist, station, or song on the host.

02The real queue, in your hand

See what is playing, add what comes next, move songs around, or jump ahead. The queue stays in step on both screens.

03Works across platforms

Pair once with a QR code or six-digit PIN. Any phone reaches any host, Android to Apple TV or iPhone to Linux, and the connection never leaves your network.

Made for listening

The covers are
just the start.

Lagu keeps the detail music lovers care about, without making the player feel like a control panel.

01 · FOLLOW THE WORDS

Lyrics in time with the song.

Synced lines settle into the center, with the rest softened into the distance. Tap a line to return to that moment: full screen on the phone, beside the artwork on iPad and TV.

Lagu on iPad in landscape: album artwork and transport controls on the left, synced lyrics on the right with the current line highlighted and the rest dimmed.
02 · HEAR THE SOURCE

Albums flow as albums.

Direct-play FLAC, gapless playback, loudness leveling set before the first note, a crossfade that starts where the song fades, a ten-band equalizer, and six audio-reactive visualizers: there when you want them, quiet when you do not.

Lagu Now Playing on iPhone: large album artwork, half-star ratings, a quality chip reading FLAC 24-bit / 192 kHz / 6,168 kbps, and the rainbow seek bar.
03 · WANDER YOUR LIBRARY

Discovery made from what you own.

Build a mix from two to eight favorite artists, hand the queue to a Guest DJ, dig up Deep Cuts you forgot you had, or plot a Sonic Adventure from one track to another. When a queue runs out, Autoplay can keep going with music that sounds like what you queued.

Two iPhones running Lagu: one showing the Home screen with a Sharpen up mix, Intense Radio and Shuffle Library buttons, and Recently Played artwork; the other showing an audio-reactive visualizer over Billie Jean in FLAC 24-bit / 96 kHz.

Platform by platform

Its own app on
every screen.

Each platform gets its own app: SwiftUI on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Watch; Kotlin and Compose on Android phones, tablets, and TVs; a dedicated desktop shell. The iPad layout was designed for an iPad, and both TV apps were designed for a living room.

  • iPhone, iPad & Apple TV — one purchase covers all three
  • Android phone, tablet & TV — one purchase covers all three
  • Desktop for Windows, macOS & Linux — free forever
  • Apple Watch downloads for phone-free runs
  • CarPlay and Android Auto on the car screen, and Siri to start a playlist by name
What ships on each platform
Lagu running on a MacBook, an iPad, and an iPhone at once — Listen Now on the laptop, synced lyrics beside the artwork on the tablet, and Now Playing on the phone.

The beta · Open now

Give your library
its song.

Lagu grew through a closed alpha with a small group of testers on their own libraries. The beta is now open, and every invitation — desktop included — goes out through this list.
